Works of art by
Eva Alisic

Eva Alisic and her colleagues at the University of Melbourne study the experiences of young people bereaved through family or war violence, aiming to improve support. In her art practice she is looking for ways to communicate the team’s research and elicit curiosity, empathy and reflection.

In this video, she explains the background of her recent glass works about silence:

With thanks to Kathryn Joy, who inspired this work through a conversation about silence; Ruth Allen and team, Giles Bettison and Lienors Torre for their mentorship through the Glass Futures masterclass; and to Fred Kroh and r.a.g.e. for the photography and videography.
